Matthew gained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1999 from Bristol University, one of the most distinguished Dental Schools in the UK.
Following his graduation, he worked in mixed NHS and private practices across London. In 2007 he bought the Merivale Dental Practice from colleagues Charles and Jane Merivale, then worked hard to take this already great dental practice to the next level.
His success is reflected in the numerous awards the
practice has since received, including BDA Good Practice and Denplan Excel. But the most important validation of Dr Nolan’s efforts is the praise and recommendations from his patients.
Matthew also works hard on his self-improvement, gaining numerous awards and additional qualifications over the years, as well as taking part in studies and giving back to
the dental community by lecturing and mentoring.
He is a Principal Dentist at the Merivale Dental Practice, providing Minimal Intervention Dentistry, with a special interest in Dental Implants and Root Canal Treatment. Dr Nolan is also involved in ongoing studies relating to psychology and oral health, in collaboration with Professor Koula Asimakopoulou at King’s College London. He applies his knowledge of running a successful practice in his role as a Denplan Practice Advisor. And he continues to be involved in education through his post as Honorary Clinical Lecturer at King’s College London.
